Learning Peace in Castellon de la Plana

Cándido was my first host in Castellon. As a post-graduate student of Peace Studies, he had volumes of textbooks for me to browse through. I didn't have to explain Quakerism to Cándido; he is well aware of the work Quakers and Mennonites have done in the area of peacebuilding.

My final host in Castello, Sascha, originally from Germany. This EFL teacher was also interested in peacebuilding, as well as literature, spirituality, or anything else you wanted to talk about. He gave me a hammock, and loaded me up with food for the road.
