To Gap and Beyond

Taking a break on the Durançe

Apple orchards replaced olive groves

My camp halfway between Sisteron and Gap

Let's head up into the High Alps!

Gap, where I thought I had a host, but didn't.

Once again, I was looking for a place to camp beyond Gap when Claire stopped her van to ask if I needed a place to stay. That's Claire on the left (signing a petition) , her husband Niamar on the right (playing the harp-like Kora) and their son Eden.

Niamar, from Senegal, with Eden. Niamar and his brother have a business which brings them to gatherings to provide Senegalese food and storytelling. His website is onvousinvitechezvous.com

Claire dropping off their daughter, Eolie, at school. Claire is an occupational therapist, and a bit of a Saint.
